Slater Yacht Services has worked on yachts since 2002 from a workshop in Spring Lake and a second one at Grand Haven Storage. It services engines, transmissions, heating and air conditioning, plumbing and generators, fabricates custom parts and handles repowering and new installations on yachts of any make. Engines include Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit, Crusader, MerCruiser and Volvo, and generators include Westerbeke, Onan and Northern Lights. Factory authorized technicians travel in mobile trucks with OEM parts and come to the boat. A 90 metric ton travel lift lets the crew launch and haul out vessels, a large OEM parts inventory is stocked, and yacht management is offered.
